#KeepDancingChallenge – Let’s come together to spread the JOY of dance!

While we are living challenging times, we have to do our best to keep a positive attitude and support each other. We can use our imagination and a little bit of technology, so DANCE can still bring us together! Each week we will post on our YouTube channel a new choreography as part of our #KeepDancingChallenge! More than keeping you active, we really hope this initiative will fill your weeks with a lot of JOY and FUN. Congratulations to Julia Afonso, our Volunteer of the Month for February!

The most important part of volunteering is having FUN! When Julia is in the studio with the dancers, you can tell by her smile and energy that she truly LOVES to be there, which makes it fun for everyone around her. She can also be found greeting parents in the lobby and connecting with dancers of all ages - which we so greatly appreciate! Julia is extremely helpful. She makes an effort to go above and beyond to ensure that, not only her buddy but all dancers are having the best possible experience in class. Julia exemplifies a true inclusive mindset when [...]

Congratulations to Dylan Abbott, our Volunteer of the Month for January!

When Dylan first joined our teen hip hop class, his passion for music and movement was clear. As a student, he is eager to learn choreography and perform with others. Dylan quickly took on the role of welcoming new dancers to the group and breaking down new moves for them. Helping new dancers was something so natural for Dylan that he asked us to join our volunteer team in Alliston. Dylan quickly connected with his dance buddy who looks up to him as a dancer role model in the studio. It is awesome to see them laughing and busting-a-move throughout [...]
